The conference brings together an interdisciplinary group of scholars who are interested in how resource issues, such as water and environmental quality, are affected by transboundary processes.

The CSD and GPACS organized the Friday sessions of this conference in coordination with The Newkirk Center for Science and Society, Focused Research Group in International Environmental Cooperation, and Urban Water Research Center
